The building was constructed in 1990 by Evangelos and Marika Soilentaki to house themselves and their son Michalis' family, while also offering accommodation to a few visitors, treating them like family. For nearly 30 years, Michalis and his wife Natasha Soilentaki have been the owners and managers of the apartments. However, as the location grew in popularity, the family decided to fully transition the property to hospitality. Today, Mary and Eva, the third generation with degrees in tourism management, are ready to lead and bring a fresh perspective to the family business.

Newly renovated luxury apartments Sun Ray are owned by a local family who are passionate about philoxenia - the Greek philosophy of hospitality. Sun Ray is located 100 just meters away from the beach and close to everything that you might need. The apartments share a pool with comfortable sun beds, each room has private balcony and they are all fully equipped. * Ideal for families, friends, and couples * Free WiFi and air conditioning * Change of linens every 3 days * Kindly note that hotel items (towels, linens, blankets) must remain within the property The working hours of the reception from 1st April to 31st October will be from 08:00 to 16:00 (Monday to Sunday).

Neighborhood info

We are located in the centre of Agia Marina area - coastal resort full of restaurants, bars, shops and all the necessities. The beach is only one minute walk away and Chania city can be reached by car with a 15 minute drive. The beach of Agia Marina in the Municipal Unit of Nea Kydonia features very fine sand and an extent of more than 2 km. It is one of the most well organized beaches of the Municipality of Chania as well as of the whole prefecture, providing lifeguard services and organized tourist facilities, comfort for swimmers and various water sports (windsurfing, water ski etc.). The beach of Agia Marina is also ideal for families with children, since its shallow, warm water is considered to be absolutely safe.
