I was born and raised in the municipality of Athens. As a mathematician I work the most hours of the day with young people 14 to 17 years old. I spend my free time reading Greek and foreign literature or walking with my two dogs.
My house, built on a stone warehouse, aged over 100 years, is a home almost always cool. Facing the sea and a vegetable garden at the back side, it has always a cool breeze. The central beach of Korissia, is about 50 meters from the entrance of the house and so, after morning coffee, take your towel and enjoy the clean sea, without much movements. The small courtyard covered with the vineyard, offers a place to eat, chat, drink your coffee or relax in the evening sipping ouzo.
However the neighborhood is what gives value to the house. It is located at the beginning of the rank of the port and what you need for everyday life, is next to you. The bakery, the butcher, the super market, a tobacconist and newspapers are all within 10 to 50 meters. In the street, which from 19.00 until the morning is closed for every vehicle, you will find the cafes, the restaurants and the bars of the port. Cross vertically the road and enjoy a night walk on the beach, up to the picturesque church of St. George from where you will have a nice view of the whole port's settlement.
