The small fishing and tourist town of Slatine is located on the beautiful island of Čiovo. The island of Čiovo is connected to the mainland, the city of Trogir, by old and new bridge. Slatine boasts an indented coastline, countless bays, cliffs, pebble and stone beaches. Slatine can serve as an excellent base for exploring Čiovo, but also as a place for a day trip. If you are planning to spend your vacation with your family, Slatine will be a great choice because it is a quiet family place, but still offers a lot of facilities on the beaches. Also, from Slatine you can visit the nearby church of Our Lady of Prizidnica, Trogir and Split. You can also get to Split by a regular boat line that sails in the summer months.
