CroatiaEverything was great. Very friendly girl at the reception. We told her that we would spend our first wedding night there, and they welcomed us with bed decoration and champagne in our room. Additionally, they allowed us to stay late to check out with no charge. Great place and very friendly staff.

The apartment was so well stocked, it had everything; a lot of pots, pans, picnic plates etc. there was deck chairs and sunbeds and even an ice maker. The patio was very big and a nice table to eat outside and deck chairs. We also liked reading/snoozing on the outdoor couch bed at the side of the house.
Location was brilliant for us, about 20 min walk from slatine harbour where you could get the ferry to Split or Trogir and there were a few restaurants there. There was a small beach directly across the road which was very quiet when we were there (end May, start of June), some days it was just my husband and I there.
Plenty of private car parking space out the back of the property.

Slatine is a quieter place near Trogir, with nice pebble...
Slatine is a quieter place near Trogir, with nice pebble beaches suitable for families with children. The sea is beautifully clean with a gentle entry into the water. There is a small harbor from which you can set off on a trip to Split or Trogir. The problem is the narrow roads where it is difficult to avoid cars and people.

okrug gornji is quite big and obtains everything you might wish for. the beaches are beautiful, although you might want to consider a different location if you want a bit more peace and quiet, since it did get a bit crowded throughout the day. we never had a problem to find an empty spot at the beach tho and there was never too many people in the sea either. there were many options for food and drinks along the beach, such as many fastfoods, smoothies, bubble tea, bars, ice cream stores and much more. there was also a souvenir shop and an arcade to occupy the little ones. grocery stores were right by the beach, just like many different restaurants varying from pizzerias to places with fresh fish. as for the transport, there were buses going around all day, you could get a cab if needed or maybe the easiest way of transport throughout the not-so-wide streets - you can rent a scooter. everything was by walking distance tho, so if you don't plan on going to a different city or traveling somewhere further, there's no need for a car in this location.

Slatine is a nice destination that you can reach by public...
Slatine is a nice destination that you can reach by public transport from Split airport. You can easily visit both Split and Trogir by bus or boat. The village has a choice of nice beaches (pebbles and rocks), a small shop, and a few nice cafes and restaurants.

Lovely seaside town.
Lovely seaside town. Appartment has good sea access and views though you need a car to get around. Appartment is a studio - well appointed and clean if (pleasantly) basic. Everything works well. If we were going back to this area we would go back to this appartment for sure.

Slatine is a small town about 30 minutes from Slatine.
Slatine is a small town about 30 minutes from Slatine. It has a beautiful coast time with many apartments with holiday makers.
The coastline is filled with restaurants and cocktail bars. We tried to visit as many as we could and all were really good. Many cocktail bars only accept cash, but there are cash machines.
