Hi! I am Sandra. Imagine spending time within the walls of a medieval city, where granite roads and dwellings tell stories of an enduring past. This is such a destination. Apartment "Seka" is located in the center of the 3000 year old town of Senj. The walls of this flat have undergone a ‘Resto-mod’ as not to disturb it’s long heritage, yet offers comfortable modern conveniences. A surprise cozy oasis awaits you and your party as you make your way through the mysterious and whimsical pathways throughout town, Roof access provides a lovely view of the terra-cotta rooftops within the citadel. Looking out the second floor window you can observe both locals and visitors in lively libations and in the mornings hear the wonderful music of church bells serenading the promise of a new day. Everything is nearby in a short walk, including the crystal clear sea. There is plenty to do here, from sitting at an outdoor cafe, to bar hopping; from swimming, and sun bathing or embarking on one of the breathtaking boating excursions to a number of islands on the beautiful Adriatic. You may choose hike to the city’s own fortress castle, or for a more challenging trek, visit one of the beautiful National Parks. You are limited only by your own sense of adventure and curiosity. Dining is also near in all price ranges, or stay in and fix a simple meal in your own private hide away. Our apartment is in the center of the city, Cars are not allowed within the city wall; so I have 2 alternative options. One is a provided parking pass by the sea which is a 2 min walk form the apartment. Option 2, in case of parking overflow; in front of my garage that is only a 5 min walk from the apartment. Senj is a small city so beaches are accessible on foot (5 min walk). You will not need a car if you plan on staying in Senj for the whole time. It will be needed only if you plan on going to other close destinations such as Plitvička jezera, or some other destination outside the city. Small animals under 20lbs for a small extra cleaning fee are allowed. Have a good time!
