The exceptional clarity of the Vir Sea from the western and southern sides will attract you to the coves of Duboka draga or Crvena Zemlja, Svrdljača, Radnjača, Velika and Mala Slatina, Lučica, Žitna, Prezida, Jadro and many other coves hidden in the deep shade of pine trees. The most famous sights are the Venetian fortress of Kaštelina and the Lanterna lighthouse, being the first renovated historical lighthouse.
