I was born and raised here in Plitvicka Jezera one of the most beautiful national parks in the world. Lived in several countries including the USA, now back home running this picturesque guesthouse, eager to share my extensive knowledge of this area and its wonders. I believe it is never too late to try new things and visit new places, such as this natural gem. Please visit and enjoy!

Guesthouse Bor is ideally located in close proximity to Entrance 2 of the world famous National Park Plitvice Lakes. The biggest lake Kozjak is about 15 minutes walking distance. The bus stop Mukinje is about 5 minutes away, the ski center with ski lifts and a restaurant is just next door, and a grocery store in the village Mukinje is reachable within 5 minutes. Guesthouse Bor is located in the very heart of the National Park, but secluded and undisturbed by the traffic and crowds of people. The house itself was built back in 1977, but offers newly renovated and tastefully decorated rooms with private bathrooms, free Wi-Fi, free parking and beautiful views over surrounding lush hills and green meadows. If you want to be close to the Lakes, but enjoy peace and tranquility, while staying in cozy and comfortable rooms, Guesthouse Bor is your best address.

Neighborhood info

If you'd like to stay active while enjoying your time with us, you are welcome to use the nearby multipurpose sport center that includes a soccer field, basketball court, and running trails. In the winter you can visit the neighboring ski center, where you can ski, snowboard or sled.
