I started a company providing personally tested beautiful beach front vacation rentals, where I have spent a couple of days myself. They had to be perfectly clean (my German husband is proverbially perfectionistic) and had to have fantastic hosts (I love people and I love to stay in the house of warm-hearted people), This connected my passion for the Adriatic Sea and enabled me to influence people’s lives in a deeper meaning by providing a great infrastructure for their holidays and our own personal tips for how to enjoy this region so much that one falls in love with it!

Overlooking the Picena bay near Vela Luka on Korcula Island, this house represents the authentic Dalmatian stone house. Beside the view to rest your eyes on, the peace and tranquility will recharge you and fulfill the senses... The first pebble beach is located directly underneat the vacation house. There are also other multiple bays in the vicinity offering a unique experience on various beach types. From pebble to stone beaches, to sandy type on the other side of the island. There is something for everyone. Pebble beach enthusiasts should visit the island very close to the house, the Proizd island (a local boat takes you there 4 times a day from Vela Luka to island Proizd, 20-minute ride one way). Proizd island was selected as the most popular beach in the Adriatic Sea in 2008. It has 4 beautiful pebble beaches, one of which is nudist.

Neighborhood info

Picena bay, where the vacation house is located, is a small bay 5 km away from Vela Luka (diametrically on the other side of the island of Korcula, where the historical town of Korcula lies). Another beautiful bay is Stracincica. To reach it you need to drive past the local villages, only 10 min away Vela Luka where the ferry brings you from Split and where you will find all the shops, ice cream, post office, local market, bakery, restaurants and bars. The bay doesn’t know mass tourism since it is a very quiet, peaceful bay with few tourists, and with no shops, restaurants and other similar facilities (all this is available at Vela Luka, a 10 minute-drive), so the experience of your holidays is a pure "just me, endless sea and peace". In Gradina Bay (20 min by car) you can find a wonderful restaurant. They have a very delicious Mediterranean food with lots of fresh fish and a wonderful beach-front location. Next reccomendable restaurant is restaurant Miletic restaurant, which is the most authentic Mediterranean places on the Island.
