Find your peace in the heart of nature! House Izvor is located inside Plitvice Natural Reserve. As you can see on the pictures, there is not much interference nearby and you can really enjoy the peace and quiet around House Izvor. We have sunbed's, benches and hammocks so that you can enjoy at your most. It is possible to use our bikes free of charge, take a walk through the park or visit other places around Plitvice, for example the old military airport of Željevo, biggest anti nuclear bunker in the world. , the waterfalls of Štrbački Buk are amazing to see as well as the caves of Barić and Cerovačke pećine. The birthhouse and museum of Nikola Tesla are nearby and easy to visit. There are three natural reserves in the close range of Plitvice, North Velebit, Paklenica and Krka with its amazing slopes and with the second oldest hydro power plant in the world, which is active from 1895. We recommend a visit of 7 days so that you can enjoy all the good things around Plitvice, for example, the coast is only a 90 km drive away. Some peolpe would even say that 7 days is too short, but we can sure fill it with exiting visits and activities. See you at House Izvor!
