Marcel Z. is in very good position in center of Zadar, 6 min away of old town. 40 meters from the harbor Jazine bay, everything is there. My husband and I were living in Paris, 2 years ago. We fell in love with Zadar and now we rent few apartments in Zadar. Our inspiration is the 20's, every building that we choose have a soul and a spirit of this age. We preserved and renovated windows shutters, all property is build in 1900, "l'authentique" is the word that we preferred . We have a private garden for the apartments and the other in front of entrance. We choose Croatian products because it's important that our guests discover new taste, discover a Croatian culture...
You will appreciate Zadar like us for humanity, the rich history, for his beauty. The sunset is not just a myth. Be there, Sunset is there even in winter, stunning and you will see how Hitchcock was right... This town is not really big, everything you can do by walk, it's an open-air museum. Amazing and surprising town, the lady of adriatic is 3000 years old, it's a piece of Venetian, Croatian of course and Roman history, today you walk on this stones... We love sailing around Dugi Otok and islands, fishes, meet new people and shares experiences, to travel most in Europe now, music, learned new languages, read books.
The museum of ancient glass is close 600 meters, square of 5 wells is amazing and you can go to lovely park queen Jelena Madijevka about 400 meters is really refreshing in summer and peacefull. We loved Bedemi the street on fortification, it's start of Museum ancient glass to the Hotel Bastion ... Nice walk with beautiful view to the sea and the other side of harbor of Zadar. Don't missed the Fosa gate, with St marc's lion, one of best preserved gate in old town. There are a lot of things to do, the sea is all around to escape your mind.. Near our location You can find bakery, a pharmacy, a shop to rent a bike, some great restaurants, bars and a nightlife like new night Bar "Hype" and in just 2 min away a shopping center.
