The holiday home is located 90 m above sea level in the old village. very close (app. 600 m) to a beautiful, clean pebble beach on the south side of the island in the popular beach resort Zavala. Zavala is now known for being a much loved destination for beach trips. It can be found on the south side of the island of Hvar, below the mountain peak Sveti Ante. It is famous for its many pebble beaches. You can reach Zavala by following a narrow and winding but beautiful road that leads through the picturesque village of Pitve and ends at the entrance to the 1,5 km long, one way, unlit tunnel which takes you to the south side of the island of Hvar. At the exit of the tunnel you can enjoy the breathtaking views over the coast, the sea and the islands of Scedro, Korcula, Vis, Susac and the peninsula of Peljesac. The idyllic and normally sleepy village of Zavala comes to life in the summer when the tourists arrive. That is the time when its true charme unfolds and when the entire island smells of rosemary, lavender and oregano. The smell of pine trees and the chirping of the countless cicadas is a real experience. You can buy and enjoy grapes, figs and other naturally grown fruit.
