Dear guests, we are extremely happy that you have chosen Stone House Villa Poplat for your vacation. Our goal is simple: we want you to feel at home with us, but with that special touch of sea magic that only Korčula offers.
The most beautiful part of our job is the moments when we see our guests relaxing for the first time with the scent of pine trees in our garden or enjoying the sunset from the terrace.
We enjoy creating spaces that inspire - for us, hospitality is not just renting a square meter, but sharing the beauty and peace that this island offers.
What makes our villa special is our love of art and tradition. As hosts: Merica and Dusko, we dedicate our free time to creative work: Merica enjoys painting, and her canvases that adorn the walls of the villa bring warmth to the apartments.
Duško is a lover of working with his hands - the stone sculptures that adorn the Stone House are our way of paying homage to the nature that surrounds us.
Together we lovingly maintain our Mediterranean garden, which is also our favorite hobby and place to relax.
We are here to help you discover the most hidden coves, recommend the best local wine or simply ensure that your stay is exactly as you dreamed.

The neighborhood where Stone House Villa Poplat is located is one of those rare places where time seems to stand still. Poplat Bay, located in the southwestern part of the island of Korčula, is known for its crystal clear water, peace and untouched nature. Our guests appreciate this silence and the feeling of complete privacy the most, with the sound of crickets and the smell of sea salt reaching the shore just 80 meters away.
What to explore nearby?
Although you are in an oasis of peace, in just 10 minutes drive (approx. 6 km) you will reach Vela Luka, a charming Dalmatian town rich in history.
Island of Proizd: Boats run from Vela Luka to this small island, which has been declared one of the most beautiful bathing places in the Adriatic. Its white rocks and turquoise sea will take your breath away.
Vela Spila: One of the most important prehistoric archaeological sites in Europe. It is located above the town and offers a spectacular view of the entire bay.
Cultural Center: Here you can see some of the impressive mosaics for which Vela Luka is famous, as well as a donation of sculptures by Henry Moore.
