Bintang Tiga Bungalows, combined with our vegan/vegetarian Ra Healing Food Restaurant, is located right on Bintang beach, north side of Gili Air. 5 of our smaller authentic island style bungalows overlook a green tropical garden, while the other three family bungalows face directly to the sea. All are just a few steps to the beach, guaranteeing a blissful tropical ambience. Each stand-alone bungalow offers hot water, air conditioning and its own patio for you to enjoy 'quiet time.' Ideally located on the quieter and popular 'sunset side' of the island, our guests enjoy watching the sun go down from our cozy berugak's, whilst sipping a cold coconut, home brewed kombucha, or bintang beer! Some evenings we love to share a beach fire with our guests, play a few tunes and just enjoy island life. Some of the best snorkeling can be found just a few meters out from our shoreline. Enjoy our delicious vegetarian food made right here on site by our amazing staff... We have available: all day breakfasts, a delicious range of main meals for lunch and dinner including the best selection of fresh raw salads. Enjoy any time of the day, our delicious raw desserts including best sellers- double chocolate pie, bannoffie, and lemon cheesecake- entirely sugar and dairy free! We have chakra smoothies and smoothie bowls, healing juices, hot cocao and chai, vegan chocolate smoothies, tea, coffee and a range of kombucha. We make our own sugar free almond, oat and coconut milk. Wifi is available in our bungalows, restaurant and some of the beachfront area. For hire we have: bicycles and snorkeling equipment. The owner of Bintang Tiga Bungalows is Andi Sudirman, who has studied as a lawyer and has spent 20 years living in Japan. Originating from Sulawesi, the Andi family moved to the Gili Islands in the 1950’s and began farming with coconut palms. This eventually led to the Andi family initiating tourism on the Gili Islands. Years later, these islands have become sought after as the ideal tropical getaway. Most of the Andi family live on the islands and in fact the beach strip along Bintang Beach belong to several family members. Andi Sudirman's father was a well known business man from Sulawesi and spoke fluent English. The family relocated to pursue farming on the island and after many successful years farming and trading produce in Sulawesi, the family decided to venture into tourism. Sudirman is dedicated to providing a fun stay at Bintang Tiga Bungalows and the ambience is happy and relaxed.

Gili Air is very much a tropical island and our environment remains natural. Seaside restaurants are scattered along the beach front serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and tropical cocktails. Bintang Beach is ideally located on the popular sunset side of the island and guests enjoy the stunning views while sipping on cocktails. Swimming and snorkelling in tropical waters is only a step away and if you choose to visit the other islands, this can be arranged. Gili Air offers many restaurants, bars and live music can be heard all around the island on busy nights. Gili Air offers restaurants, clothing shops, food shopping and an abundance of exotic fruits. There are yoga schools and 2 well equipped gyms on the island. The average temperature is 28 - 30C and the water is similarly warm. Diving and snorkelling are the main attractions and there are many dive shops where you can learn to dive. Snorkelers usually are taken out on a boat to a few locations. Dining out is memorable as many restaurants are on the beach and serve BBQ fish and meats with all-you-can eat salads.
