What really makes Camplung Beach Family Villa special is lots of space. Everything has been designed to give maximum room. The bedrooms are around 50 meters square. The living room/dining room is open plan and huge. As soon as you walk through the front door you will be welcomed with a view of the pool and sea via a huge window. The garden and pool area are also similarly well proportioned. We have tried to create a colonial style atmosphere with wooden floors and a wooden staircase downstairs. Outside a large veranda overlooking the pool/sea. We are a family run villa and cater for large family groups and gatherings. We try to provide lots of activities for the whole family. The surrounding area is delightful. This is one of the few surviving areas of traditional Bali. Currently there are still very few tourists. The people who tend to come to the north of Bali are looking for the nature and the people/culture. There are also a number of scuba resorts and yoga retreats which all open their doors to non guests. They are generally happy for you to use their restaurants, bars and facilities. Tejakula is perfect for all manner of outdoor activities. Bikes, kayaks, snorkeling and hiking.

Keith is a British GP (family doctor) and Herna is born and bred in Tejakula. They both met whilst working on the cruise ships. They have 2 young children (Emily and Chris). They spend time between Tejakula, Denpasar and UK. The village of Tejakula is perfect for anyone with a young family. It is also ideal for lovers of nature and the great outdoors. It has everything you could hope for unless of course you are hoping for shopping centres and night clubs (not many of those). We have now created a lovely farmstead with 2 friendly cows, 2 goats, homing pigeons, rabbits, guinea pigs, and lots of chickens.

What we have nearby is nature. There is a volcano behind us (in fact 2). We are surrounded by coconut tress and farmland. In front of us there is the beach and sea. This is one of the few traditional communities left in Bali. Most people are still earning a living from the sea and land. At night you can sit on the beach and see dozens of lights from the fishermen out at sea. The locals are very friendly and you will have a perfect opportunity to see how they live and learn a bit about their beliefs and customs.
