Our homestay is located in a quiet village called Mong 2. We are located just 1.2km from central Kuta surrounds by green mountains. The location for us is number 1 as we are close enough to all the ammenities yet it is nice and quiet on an evening to get a good nights sleep. We have a large roof terrace with bean bags which allows guests to chill after a day of sightseeing/surfing, and we also have a fridge stocked with what you need.
Jhon who is the owner of the homestay is from Masbagik which is 1 hour North East of Kuta. He has been living in Kuta for 4.5 years and runs the homestay with his wife who is from England and his family. Jhon also runs a tour company (Afdy Tours & Travel) and is a freelance surf instructor (Surf @ 79), so knows a lot of information about the island and where the best spots are. Jhon and his family always welcome their guests as though they are family and are always keen on making sure everyone has an enjoyable stay on their island.
The homestay is located in a traditional sasak village perched up on a hill overlooking the village. We are surrounded by lush green mountains. The locals in the village are all very friendly and will always say hello when you pass by. As you drive through the village you will see everyone pottering around getting on with their daily lives.
