Martas started in 2003 with 2 rooms and over the following years we grew and have now 10 rooms and a swimming pool and communal area for breakfast. Our rooms are a mixture of Indonesian traditional style and modern comforts.
We are Marta Saputra and Joanna Green and we are the owners of Martas. Marta is from Lombok and Joanna is from England and has lived on Gili Trawangan for many years. We live at Martas and enjoy meeting our guests.
We are located in the south beach area also known as central and are a short walk from the islands best restaurants and bars. The main swimming beach is 10 minutes walk to the north and the quiet sunset beaches in the south just 15 minutes walk away.
