A tropical and earthquake resistant naturally cool residence. Designed and built by the property owners. It is situated near the top end of a beautiful rain forested Valley (The Kerandangan valley). Only 2 kilometers from the white sand beaches of Northwest Lombok, and just North of the tourist hub of Sengiggi. Just 5 minutes walk up valley is the Kerandangan National park, with many species of native birds, butterflies, 2 species of monkeys and much more. Please be advised that only 2 adults per Queen/king size room, and up to 2 teenagers in the single beds room. There are refrigerators in the large rooms. Please be advised that we can accommodate a free shuttle service to and from Senggigi fast boat terminal and a minimal charge of IR 150,000 to and from Bangsal fast boat and ferry terminal

Your hosts Geoff and Yuli share a passion for natural and wild places, they have native trees and vines in the garden that attract and are hosts for birds and butterflies out of the local forest. We actively rear local butterflies and release them into our garden. They hope to show guests the local attractions, walking in the forest, and traveling up into the mountains to visit spectacular waterfalls.

In the local area the population is predominantly "Sasak" Muslim with a smaller population of Hindu Balinese, so there are Masjids and Balinese temples to see and visit. There are also a few Christian Churches. The close by tourist hub of Sengiggi has bars and restaurants, a gym and beautiful beaches. We are about 35 minutes drive South of Bangsal the gateway to the Gilie islands. near Bangsal is an Elephant and bird park.
