Gili Air is a magical island with a big heart! Indonesians are exceptionally welcoming people and we are very grateful for the opportunity to host you and your friends and family. The island is small, there are no motorized vehicles and most roads are undeveloped, although over the past 2-3 years a lot of main roads has been paved and tarred. Gili Air is a small undeveloped island, however you will still find everything you need for a tropical lifestyle! Be understanding, be kind and be courteous to locals and other guests and respect the religion and culture of the island and its people, and your stay will be magical. Villa Ikan is located in the middle of the island and is situated on a dirt road, the villa can easily be accessed by horse-cart or bicycle. The Gili Islands is currently experiencing its highest ever development levels and this means thee are construction everywhere on the island. Please note that construction is permitted between the hours of 09:00 AM - 17:00 PM daily and Villa Ikan is unfortunately not in control of these factors.
