GARDENS & GROUNDS The gardens and grounds surrounding the residences are extremely well kept and the garden has been well planned to provide color and privacy. The house links seamlessly with the gardens and wider setting, with views extending to the surrounding mountains. CLONE HOUSE HISTORY Clone House dates back to the 1650’s and has a charming history. Originally built as a Manor House on a large estate stretching across thousands of acres. Unfortunately the house was burnt down in the 1798 Rebellion but was beautifully restored around 1805. Current owners have renovated extensively keeping heritage but adding modern comforts and styling.

Jeff and Svetlana are an international couple and lovers of good food, wine, travel, fitness, culture and good company. They are relocating back to Ireland to open up their own B&B in Clone House, a Victorian heritage house in the green hills and countryside of Wicklow County near Aughrim. Between them they speak Italian, Russian, Spanish, French and Estonian in addition to English. Jeff works in IT for financial services and has an MBA from Harvard Business School and is an avid gardener. Svetlana is an experienced operator of guest houses/ holiday homes and is an excellent and exacting cook and beauty therapist. We love meeting people travel or welcoming them into our charming, guest house and gardens. We look forward to visitors and creating a wonderful and relaxing home located just one-hour south of Dublin, Ireland in Wicklow, the Garden of Ireland. We reside in Clone House in a private family quarters so will be available when needed however. Clone House is also available for whole house letting for birthday parties, small weddings, anniversaries, corporate events, communions, hen parties etc.

ACTIVITIES IN AREA Clone House is within close proximity to 4 excellent golf courses Woodenbridge Golf Club, The European Golf Club, Druids Glen Golf Club and Glen of the Downs. There is excellent racing nearby in Leopardstown, Naas, Punchestown and The Curragh that are all within easy driving distance. There is also a wide selection of equestrian facilities in the local area including Wicklow Equestrian Centre and Bel-Air Equestrian Centre in Ashford. Hunting in the general area is well catered for with The West Wicklow Pack and the Bray Harriers. There is also fishing and hiking around the rivers, lakes and mountains of the area. Glendalough and Laragh are a short drive.
