Cloonboo Lodge 9 Beds Sleeps 12 Our property is a spacious 5 bedroom dormer bungalow situated just 12 minutes from Galway City on the Galway Castlebar Road (N84) with free parking for up to 12 cars and/or a 30 seater bus and free high speed fibre WiFi Broadband. It is 2 min from shops, pubs and fuel station etc. It is 5 min from Lough Corrib Annaghdown Pier and 25 minutes from Ashford Castle in Cong. We are 15 minutes from Salthill and are perfectly placed for Tours of Connemara (North and South), Tours of the Burren and Cliffs of Moher, Tours of the Aran Islands and Tours of sights in Galway City. It has oil fired central heating, ensuite bedrooms, free wifi, 4 power showers with hot water and fresh towels. It also has a fully equipped kitchen and dining room.
I am now almost 10 years hosting guests from all over the world. I enjoy meeting our guests and sharing information on our beautiful country, our heritage, history, sport and generally anything that is of interest to our guests. I am a certified tour guide and organize tours all over Ireland. I have a Mercedes V Class for transfers and take guided tours both regular or custom tours. It can take 6 guests. I have access to bigger bus for tours with larger groups. A lover of our national games and the GAA especially the fastest field game in the world, hurling. I also enjoy visits to both folk and traditional Irish Pubs for sing sessions. If given enough information I help families find their ancestral homes anywhere in Ireland and this is somethingIi am very proud of. To increase the chances of success I will need as much information as you can give me well in advance of your stay with us.
Our neighbourhood is in a quiet, crime free setting only minutes from Galway city. We are close to shops, gas station and pubs one of which serves breakfasts and lunches that are very popular with visitors and locals alike. Regans of Cloonboo has music at weekends and Bank Holidays, Cambells Music Tavern is 7 minutes away and has music sessions throughout the week, (Ed Sheeran showed up there recently as do other famous musicians from time to time) For fishing enthusiasts we are only 5 minutes from Annaghdown Pier, Lough Corrib and the property has a secure shed to lock away equipment etc. There is a bus service to Galway and Mayo only 5 minute walk away and taxi are easily available at all times to and from Galway City, (I own a taxi and can take guests at anytime)
