This sea-side apartment was tastefully renovated to combine old and new. You can hear the waves from the window, and you can stroll to the beach in under a minute. Period features of the historic nineteenth-century building have been retained, but when it comes to comfort the house is thoroughly modern. Every room has heating, underfloor in the bathroom, with a new heater just added to the small but well-equipped kitchen. WiFi, electricity, pets and extra guests are free. There are no extras.

Kerry needs no introduction. The scenery around our house is beautiful. It's a fabulous location for walking, cycling and hiking. Kells itself is a quiet rural idyll. Irish people holiday there year after year. Being so small, it's easy to get chatting to people and the local pub is very welcoming. In the summer months there's a fish and chip shop just down the road at the beach. If you fancy trying your hand with lobster, you can buy some from a local fisherman up the road. The renowned Kells Bay House and Gardens, with its highly-regarded Thai restaurant, is ten minutes' walk from the apartment. The crowning jewel of the Iveragh peninsula, thie Skellig Rock island, is visible from half an hour away and can be visited by boat in the summer months. Once a refuge for hermit monks, it was featured as Luke Skywalker's retreat in The Force Awakens.
