Errisbeg Hill towers behind the village, and Roundstone Harbour to the front. The world famous Gurteen and Dogs Bay beaches are located just outside the village. The area is a popular area for artists and writers, all drawing inspiration from the beautiful surroundings. Roundstone village is host to grocery stores, bars, restaurants, and cafes.
