After years of traveling the world for work and fun, we're now putting our energy into the hospitality business. All those experiences overseas inspired us to settle down and take on something big—we want to turn Cuchulainn into a go-to spot known for its one-of-a-kind vibes. We're excited to bring fresh ideas and a personal touch to everything we do, making sure every guest has a great time as Cuchulainn grows in the years ahead. During your stay we will not be on site however we remain close by should you need any help.

The Cuchulainn Townhouse offers privacy, comfort and convenience with proximity to both Eyre Square and Dexcom Stadium. Accommodation: Our detached, three-floor townhouse can accommodate up to seven guests in four bedrooms or up to two privately in our Deluxe King Studio. Room & Facility: As your hosts, we favour family or group bookings, especially those for extended stays. Guests have access to the ground floor, which includes a kitchen with a seating area, as well as spacious dining and living rooms. The first floor features a bathroom and toilet, along with four bedrooms: one with a King bed, ensuite shower and wash basin, two Double beds to the rear, and one Large Single bed. Laundry facilities are available for stays of two nights or more. Deluxe / Premier Room Option: We offer a Premier Room option for up to two guests, ensuring a private stay with no other guests present. No kitchen, living room and laundry facilities are included. House Rules & Information: Events and Parties: Open drinking inside/outside, or smoking, stag, hen parties are strictly not permitted. Quiet Hours: Observed from 11:00 pm to 8:00 am to respect our neighbours. Privacy and Access: The lower floor (basement) and rear access to the garden, are private areas unless laundry access is granted. During your stay, the host will not be onsite after check-in unless requested or if there is a breach of house rules. This ensuring your privacy. Security and Guest Policy: Entry/exit is monitored on security cameras. Only registered guests are permitted entry; no additional visitors are allowed (no exceptions). 10% surcharge per guest will be applied. Discounted rates are provided per guest staying (up to 7x, 4x or 2 guests i.e. 1-2 rooms). Only the number of guest(s) booked may stay. Discounts apply for longer stays. From College Road you can access the city center and recently constructed Dexcom Stadium which adds a sense of excitement to the neighbourhood, sitting just steps away. Whether you’re looking to enjoy a match or simply grab a coffee and a bite to eat, it’s a convenient destination. Town is highly accessible: it takes only five to seven minutes on foot to reach the heart of Galway City or transit hubs such as the Bus, Coach, and Rail station. Grab some lunch, dinner or enjoy the live music with a pint it is up to you. Check out the local scene for events, there is often a free show in town especially around the Arts Festival or the Galway Races. We have Connacht Rugby, Galway United and Galway GAA hurling and football if you are a sports fan. Lough Corrib and Wood Quay is where you will find offers day tours and kayaking near the National University of Ireland, Galway. Tours can be accessed from the Coach Station and Port to the Cliffs of Moher and Aran Islands. More locally, Lough Atalia is a cherished spot for both locals and visitors alike. Strolling along its shores offers not only beautiful scenery but also an opportunity to experience the area’s vibrant wildlife and sandy beaches to the west. Add in the Canals and you are in for a long stimulating walk through Galway’s historic past. Together it all contributes to a lively yet relaxed atmosphere, where there is always something happening within easy reach. Cuchulainn Townhouse serves as a homely central point from which you can explore, relax, and enjoy everything the area has to offer. Many Supermarkets are close by. Parking - on street paid parking is possible from 08:30 to 18:30 daily, and 13:30 to 18:30 on Sunday. Outside these time it is free. There is a car park in the Galway City Council just 300 meters away with a 24 hour parking for 24 euro. Hourly rates apply also. There are regular bus services available within meters of the location. GoCar (rental App) operate within meters of the location.
