Just a 5-minute walk from the center of Galway, Desota House provides free Wi-Fi, free on-site parking and comfortable rooms with private bathrooms and flat-screen TVs with cable channels. With a central location, the Desota House Bed and Breakfast is a great base from which to enjoy the capital of the West of Ireland and the beautiful surrounding area. The city is packed with lively pubs and high-quality restaurants, with many venues featuring authentic traditional Irish music. The bed and breakfast is only a 5-minute walk from the National University of Ireland Galway (NUIG) and University College Hospital Galway (UCHG). All of the non-smoking rooms with private bathrooms have personal safes, tea/coffee-making facilities, mini fridges and complimentary toiletries. Property info

Desota House has been welcoming guests since the 1950s. Originally built by an Irish family who were returning from living in the USA. The house has been renovated many times since its opening but the name remains the same. All staff have a good knowledge of things to see & do in the locality.

We are a short walk to the pedestrianised City centre, University of Galway, Galway Cathedral and UCHG.
