This new site is set up looking directly at the most stunning scenery in Moyrus Bay. Your perfect base for hiking, walking, cycling and relaxing, wake up to look out your window to see the Atlantic, the 12 Pins and beautiful Moyrus Bay. The Caravan is very cosy and spacious with plenty of wardrobe space and a great power shower and ensuite bathroom. There is a gas oven and hob, microwave, fridge /freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, toaster, kettle, TV and Dvd player. It is the perfect getaway for families or couples wishing to unwind with a beautiful sandy beach 5 minutes from your doorstep. The caravan is positioned in a 2 acre site with 2 Glamping Pods about 100 yards away which share the site. The land in totally enclosed by stone walls and is gated and very private. There is a stone fire pit outside and a ground bike rack holder together with picnic table and outdoor seating. There is also a barbecue if asked for. The caravan is well sheltered from the prevailing winds and positioned next to a rock face as a means of wind protection and shelter. Parking for the caravan is next to it.
I and my family are passionate about this area and I am thrilled to be able to share it with others who appreciate the idyllic beauty of Connemara.
The village of Carna is about 3 miles away and has 2 traditional pubs, a restaurant/hotel and 3 small shops including a garage and a post office. There are many interesting local walks in the area and a booklet has been left in the caravan for guests to use displaying the walks in addition to information on horse riding, golf, swimming , fishing and bike hire in Connemara. The site has a field bordering it with cattle in which are kept at bay with a stone wall. The gates are kept closed at all times to the site as there are other animals that do roam around such as ponies and donkeys which can come in to the site and go damage if the gates are left open. There is plenty of room on the site for the storage of boats or kayaks etc. There is 3G/4G access on the site in addition to a regular mobile phone signal all of which can be interfered with by the weather. The area is Irish speaking and the neighbourhood is quiet and totally unique
