Set in an idyllic irish countryside with views of the ocean in the distance, Lignaul Cottage is a cosy cottage for four, offering peace and quiet on the Wild Atlantic Way. With two bedrooms and one bathroom, an open plan sitting room and kitchen with stove, its a great place to relax and restore after a day of exploring. Guests love us for our countryside location and quiet surroundings, our cleanliness and our knowledge of the local area. We are perfect for couples, families and walkers.
Myself and my husband Pat, welcome you to our cottage in the beautiful hills of Donegal. I and my family were born and raised in this area . Although the cottage is set in a rural location, you are never too far away from a beautiful beach or a buzzing town. The Cottage is approx 15 mins from the 3 main towns, Donegal Town, Killybegs, and Ardara. It is a 7 Minute drive to the lovely Inver Beach. and there is so much to see and do on your trip to Donegal. We love visiting the cottage and enjoying the peace and quiet of the area and will do our best to ensure you have a memorable stay. The cottage is fitted with a lock box so you can come and go as you wish but we are of course on hand to help should you need anything
★ Beautiful scenery & walks on your doorstep ★ Less than a 5 minute drive to our local shop, pub and restuarant ★ A 7 minute drive to the beautiful Inver Beach ★ A 20 minute drive to Blue Flag Fintragh Beach ★ Approx 15 minute drive to pubs, restaurants and shops of Donegal Town, Ardara and Killybegs ★ The Secret Waterfall, Muckross head and the famous cliffs of Slieve League are all within easy reach Donegal is best explored by car and it is advisable to travel by car to the cottage as our location is rural.
