Rose Cottage is a superbly-presented, detached cottage set next to the owners' working livestock and arable farm, in a rural position less than three miles from Duncannon. Set all across the ground floor, the cottage offers two bedrooms, one double with an en-suite shower room and one twin, sleeping up to four people. There is also an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a warming open fire. To the front of the cottage is off road parking for 3 cars plus a gravelled garden area with furniture. Rose Cottage provides friends, families and couples with a comfortable base from which to discover the sunny South East of Ireland. Note: There is a working livestock and arable farm directly behind this cottage, fenced off and only accessible via gate at end of driveway, children should be supervised at all times. Unfortunately property cannot accept pets. Fuel and power charged at 25 per week

The picturesque fishing village of Duncannon is situated in southwest County Wexford, and is dominated by Duncannon Fort, which sits on a rocky outcrop jutting into the channel. Waterford Harbour lies to the west and the golden sandy beach is popular for swimming and sunbathing. The International Sand Sculpting Festival is a village highlight each year. With a couple of pubs and restaurants and a children’s playground by the beach, Duncannon is a lovely place for a quiet seaside holiday. Catch a ferry to the beaches and watersports of Dunmore East, shop for traditional crystal in Waterford, enjoy the music of Wexford Festival Opera each October or explore some of the historic houses, beautiful gardens and lovely walks in this wonderful part of Ireland.
