The location is fantastic, absolutely spotless hotel , my room was fantastic. It was big and had a large private balcony with a gorgeous view of the river and all of the city , the hand soap /shampoo had such a nice smell, the bed was very comfortable and the pillows you had a choice of a soft one or a firm one , lots of tea and coffee and more milk then usually given, 3 toilet papers given . Despite being in a busy location it felt very quiet , plenty of plug sockets and even usb ports

Attended a recent wedding in the hotel. The venue, staff and food was exceptional. Breakfast was beautiful, a lovely menu of hot breakfast choices to choose from, along with fresh juice. Food was a little slow, although it gave time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and enjoy the selection of yogurt, bread and pastries.

The place was in the middle of nowhere so no walking to a bar. That didn't matter as the facilities, bar and food, are excellent. John and the team really looked after us and we had a great evening. Rooms were clean and had everything required. Motorcycle security was excellent; parked right in front of the foyer. Would definitely stay again

Waterford is a lovely city with a beautiful quayside along the river suir, it is a historic city with a number of great museums and of course the iconic Reginald's tower and tower clock. It has a beautiful shopping street/area and many lovely pubs where music is played far too loud ! Unlike many counties it has a wonderful greenway from waterford to dungarvan which was very busy with mostly cyclists but also some walkers . It has a good bus and train connect and the waterford people are it's crowning glory ! Over the past quarter of a century waterford has reinvented itself into a lovely tourist city which i will be revisiting soon .

A very amazing place, lots of places to visit and all very close to our hotel and car parking, something for everyone and very historical and lots of information to hand. We ate mostly in our Hotel which was amazing but there were also lots of different restaurants and bars we could have used, we were spoilt for choice. We drove to a few different towns and beaches which were in close proximity to Waterford.

Enjoyed the beautiful little fishing village of Crooke, with views of wexford, lovely local restaurants like the Suir Inn and Jack Meades. People are friendly. Local beaches like Woodstown and Tramore are well worth a visit. Sunny south east lives up to its name. Stayed in Woodlands hotel which had lovely facilities including a pool and steam room and tennis courts in good use with regular tournaments.

We didn’t have breakfast but price was very reasonable. Parking was available across from the hotel in council car park €12 for 24 hours so not bad and only a short walk. The location is excellent short walking distance to city centre. Staff were so helpful friendly can’t say enough about them. Great atmosphere in the bar restaurants at night. This hotel is highly recommended and can’t wait for my next visit.
