We moved into Sharamore House in 1993. At that time it was about 1000 square feet and in need of extensive renovation, we liked the area its close enough to Clifden but away from the noise. Since then we have added about 4000 square feet to the house purpose built for bed and breakfast.
John and Sue Brittain have been running their faulty home as a Bed and Breakfast since 1994. We love the area, the views, the sea, the wonderful walking and the stunning scenerey.
Streamstown is less than 5 mins drive from Clifden on the N59 to Westport. We have a nice view over Streamstown Bay looking toward the Sky Road peninsula. We are surrounded by fields with cattle sheep and horses and there is a stream in front of the house.

Directions: If coming from Clifden, take the N59 to Westport. After 1.9 mi, take the left turning signed for Claddaduff. Sharamore is the two-story house just 98 feet along this road, on the right hand side. It is less than a 5-minute drive from Clifden town.
