I created The Yellow Bollard as a comfortable and practical space for larger groups visiting Galway and the west of Ireland. Whether guests are here for Race Week, concerts, family gatherings, festivals or simply a few relaxing days away, the house is designed to be easy, spacious and comfortable for groups staying together. The property operates with simple self check-in and private access, allowing guests the flexibility to arrive and settle in at their own pace. While I’m not based directly in Galway, I’m always available to help with questions, recommendations or anything guests may need during their stay. I want guests to feel relaxed, welcome and at home while enjoying everything Galway and the west coast have to offer.

The area is especially popular during Galway Race Week, festivals and concert weekends. Guests can also take day trips to Connemara, the Cliffs of Moher and the Aran Islands. The neighbourhood is convenient for both short city breaks and longer stays, with shops, supermarkets and local services nearby, while still offering a quieter setting away from the busy city centre.
