It offers complete tranquillity & lies within easy reach of the main attractions of the area (beaches, hiking, surfing, kayaking, horse riding, chasing waterfalls & sunsets). The cosy cottage is perfect for peaceful strolls across Donegal’s breathtaking beach’s& it’s the ultimate backdrop for a low-key romantic break, however, you’ll have to make friends with the cows while you’re there!

This cosy cottage is part of a working farm with cattle and sheep in the surrounding fields. South-West Donegal is known for its stunning coastal scenery and Blue Stack mountains, offering great opportunities for outdoor activities and some local history. With easy access to Northern Ireland, Belfast airports and the city of Derry, the Giant's Causeway all provide great locations for day trips. Closer to home, Slieve League, the famed sea cliffs, Killybegs (fishing), Glencolumbcille with its Folk Village museum, and nearby Ardara, one of S.W. Donegal's most popular little towns offer a wealth of possibilities. Guests should ideally come by car/hire car as there are no local buses or trains. There is a good bus service from Dublin airport to Donegal town, and it is possible to take a taxis to the cottage.
