Roundstone is on Bertraghboy Bay in Connemara, County Galway. The entrance to Roundstone harbour is marked by a large, upturned bath tub-shaped rock called seals rock (Chloch na Ron), where seals like to sunbathe. It's also called Roundstone Haven. Roundstone has pubs, restaurants, cafés, shops, a children's playground, and a traditional Irish night and festivals throughout the year. Roundstone is full of historical and geographical points of interest, including the Franciscan Monastery bell tower in Michael Killeen Park and a monument to St Brendan on Inishnee, a small island in Roundstone Bay.
