We created our glamping pods as a peaceful retreat for guests looking to truly switch off, relax, and enjoy the natural beauty of the Copper Coast. Each stay is designed to be comfortable, private, and a little bit special—especially with the addition of our wood-burning sauna experience. Trá na mBó – Luxury Glamping Pod with Sauna Experience. Escape to the Copper Coast and unwind in Trá na mBó, our luxurious glamping pod located just 1.2km from our Blue Flag beach. Set in a peaceful, scenic setting, it’s the perfect place to switch off, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of the coast in comfort. This beautifully finished, hand crafted pod sleeps up to 3 guests and features a separate bedroom with a double bed, along with a comfortable double sofa bed in the living space—ideal for couples, friends, or small families. Designed with warmth and style in mind, Trá na mBó offers a cosy retreat all year round. Guests also enjoy complimentary access to our traditional wood-burning sauna barrel, shared with our second pod. Private sauna sessions are booked in advance, so you can enjoy the space entirely to yourselves. Lighting the stove is part of the experience, and after 1 to 1.5 hours, the sauna is ready for your private 30-minute session. Right beside the sauna, a refreshing cold outdoor shower completes the experience—perfect for cooling off between sauna rounds. Spend your days exploring the stunning Copper Coast, with its rugged cliffs and hidden beaches just a short distance away, then return to relax, unwind, and soak up the peaceful surroundings. The glamping pod is situated just over 1km from the coastal village Bonmahon, Co.Waterford, Ireland, boasting a Blue Flag Beach & a Green Coast Award. Just 7 km from the Déise Greenway. 23km to Dungarvan, 25km to Waterford (Ireland's oldest city) and 18 km to Tramore - one of Waterford's major seaside towns. The Copper Coast Geo Park Visitors Centre is 800m away where you can soak up the history of Bonmahon and Knockmahon Mines and enjoy a coffee/ homemade foods. The Engine House Bar & Restaurant in Bonmahon serves locally sourced food/dinners. A walk on Bonmahon Beach Boardwalk is a must…. grab a coffee to go, sit awhile on one of the beach benches and enjoy the views across the bay.
