Bethany Inn is one of the oldest guesthouses in Vagator and began operations in 1994. It is built on the very site that the present DSouza family's ancestral Portuguese house once stood. A notable feature is the half-a-century old, 50 feet deep, stone well that has been beautifully restored and is functional even today refusing to run dry even at the height of summer. The guest house is strategically located just off the main road. It is almost equidistant from the main Vagator beach and Little Vagator or Ozran beach. Down the same street is Hill Top, the most happening party spot in Vagator. Bethany Inn boasts of well landscaped grounds that are a joy to behold. Extending behind the property is a large coconut grove of close to 50 trees. If you are an avid bird watcher and early riser, you could see a crow pheasant looking for an easy meal, or a woodpecker eyeing the surroundings, and if you are really lucky, the best of all, a peacock strutting around on the grounds or a peahen perched atop one of the trees.
