Birdsong is a standout amongst all other local homestays in Madikeri. It is located in a lush coffee estate, the drive to the coffee estate is quite scenic. The accomodation is upscale and curated with excellent furniture and artefacts.
My name is Seetha, a retired Network Engineer, I moved to India from the United States a few years ago. I am very passionate about running the coffee estate and like living in Coorg, away from the maddening crowds..
The solitude, the fresh air and the lush greenery are the high light of the estate stay. The caretaker will take you on a plantation tour downhill to the stream, and point out all the different fruit plants, types of coffee plants etc . All in all it is a nice group getaway..
