Since Dubare, Harangi elephant camp are temporarily closed there is no point staying here for more than a day. Only positive is that it is close to attractions like Nisargadhama park, some other small attractions.

Kushalnagar is a spot I came to stay to soak up the vibe of a very authentic Indian Town frim.which I could visit Sera & Coorg. Was delightful to see South India and so much untouched forest and pristine land. Monasteries, Elephants, Waterways, staying in Kushalnagar was great for shopping, food, the fun of it, and proximity to all this without needing an expensive resort away from the vibe I wanted to be in. Loved it - what a great time. Easy to get around, lots of things to enjoy & super friendly place.

I booked and I got confirmation from booking.com but when I reached there the owner said to be no room and he called someone and push me to take other room.I was travelling with my family.we are so disappointed.i travel lots of places around the world and this is my first experience.I feel very bad and the guy called me next day and harassed me because I didn’t took the room he was suggested.please be careful.

The place is very centrally located and one can easily walk...

The place is very centrally located and one can easily walk upto grocery stores and restaurants. The free parking offered is on a public road! Closets were completely inadequate and contained many of the owners personal belongings. The place was completely airless when we arrived and we had to open up the windows several of which were stuck because of paint. The bedroom facing the road and other houses had flimsy curtains that don’t offer privacy. Still for the location,the place is affordable but better suited to students and backpackers than families. I found the rating of “exceptional” on Booking.com very misleading and it erodes my trust in such ratings and reviews.

The place was very good.

The place was very good. The places to visit near kushalnagar are Tibetan Monestary, Chiklihole reservoir, Kaveri Nisargadhama park, Dubare Elephant camp, Harangi dam. Tibetan Monestary is a must visit place. Check the water levels in dam with locals before visiting Chiklihole reservoir and Harangi dam

The rooms were impeccably clean and well-appointed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and style. The picturesque surroundings and serene atmosphere added to the overall charm. The complimentary breakfast was not only delicious but also showcased a variety of options. I highly recommend Athithi Treebo Hotel for a serene and enjoyable retreat in Coorg.

I had a terrible experience at this hotel. Despite charging ₹2000 per night, the hotel lacked even basic hygiene and amenities. The room was dirty, and there was no geyser. The jug provided for heating water didn't work. The staff was rude and barely available when needed. Even after multiple complaints, there was no response or effort to improve the service. This place is highly overpriced for the poor facilities and service it offers. I would not recommend staying here.
