It is a 150+ years old ancestral homestay, built on land transferred to the owners in the 13th century as evidenced by a copper plate. H2O house is perhaps the only property in the world that sits atop a Gharat, a traditional flour mill run by the naturally flowing water stream. It has 4 sustainably built traditional houses, designed for comfort, luxury and cultural preservation. It offers spacious seating areas for yoga, meditation, and official meetings & dinners. It is located at the confluence of rivulets Saal and HulNala amidst PirPanjal ranges, 12 kms away from the historic town of Chamba. It is a perfect escapade for those who want to savour pristine nature and vibrant culture. H2O House along with other homestays in the vicinity provides a perfect example of a community driven travel destination being run on sustainability principles

Neighborhood info

We grow all our vegetables in our organic home garden, use our water based flour mill thus minimizing usage of electricity. You can take bath in the river and meditate in the middle while sitting on the stones! We have arrangements for river side lunch, bone-fire and meditation. The place is linked to Chamba town by road and we take friends by taxi till this place as the place is not on usual traffic route. The place has various trekking and day trip options such as visiting ancient temples, experiencing local life, hiking in the hills etc. We provide our friends with all of these options and many more. The place is perfect for young friends, families, couples and relaxing generation; however we create customized experience depending on individual preference and fitness level.
