Although my visit to Manali was primarily for official work, I had the opportunity to observe the town and its surroundings. Manali continues to be blessed with breathtaking natural beauty, but I was disappointed by the overwhelming crowd and the lack of adequate administrative arrangements to manage it effectively. What concerned me even more was the behavior of many tourists. A large number of visitors, including youngsters and families, failed to maintain basic cleanliness. Garbage was scattered across public places, and instances of open drinking, loud shouting, fighting, and disregard for traffic and driving rules were unfortunately common. Such behavior not only creates inconvenience for others but also damages the fragile ecosystem of this beautiful hill town. Tourism is a privilege, and with it comes responsibility. If we truly love nature and mountains, we must show respect for them. Every visitor should ask themselves: What are we giving back to Mother Nature in return for the peace, beauty, and joy that she provides us? Preserving destinations like Manali requires a collective effort from both the administration and tourists alike. Let us enjoy nature responsibly and leave these places cleaner and better than we found them.

please careful from tourist place car driver where do not used u ur own car. for Jacko temple and Kupri area local transport take money from u first after that they will drop u location but when the time of pickup they will take different customers. when they free then get ur car it will take at least 1 to 2 hour waiting after u complete ur visit. very careful from them and they are local if u told something they will misbehaved with u and ur family.

Wrong time to visit.. over crowded and very hot. Did not expect Dharamshala to boil at 35 C. Most hotels are badly maintained and expensive for the quality and amenities. It is best to visit for a day, cover a few places and head to other towns like Dalhousie. If you intend to do a spiritual retreat, then pick a place and stay put for a couple of days. Avoid tourist season.

Stayed at this hotel recently and had a really good experience. The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained. Bed was comfortable and washroom hygiene was properly taken care of. Staff was polite, helpful, and quick in service. Check-in and check-out process was smooth without any hassle. Food quality was also good, especially breakfast which had decent variety and fresh taste. Location is another big plus — easily accessible and convenient for travel. Overall, a comfortable stay with good service and value for money. Would definitely recommend it and would like to visit again.
