The reception staff was friendly and helpful, the location was perfect, smack in the center of things to do and see, and the restaurant was top notch. The value was fine, when you take into account the location and season. The back of the hotel had a spectacular view of the deodar forest and snow-capped mountains.

I had a wonderful stay at Backpacer Inn. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with reliably hot water and a spectacular view of the Himalayas right outside my window. The location is perfect—close to town, yet quiet enough to feel peaceful. What truly made my stay exceptional was the staff. Ganesh and the entire team were incredibly helpful and kind. They assisted me in arranging transport, offered guidance whenever I needed it, and even carried my bag without hesitation. Their warmth and hospitality made me feel genuinely cared for. I highly recommend Backpacer Inn to anyone visiting the area. It’s a fantastic place to stay.

This hotel is over my expectation as it’s stated in the website is under what they offer to you. For exemple, I thought there was only 1 room with twin beds or a double bed. However, it was actually 2 connecting rooms with 1 washroom where we had 3 beds: 1 double and 2 single beds. It’s incredibly quiet and locates quite central (10’ walk to the Dalai Lama Temple), and near to Kora walk also. Nearby, you can also find good restaurants, groceries. In summary, it’s highly recommended. I will come back here next time.

thanks to hillora team, I don't do many reviews, but it was a very pleasant experience. I had visited this place earlier also, this was my 3rd visit. This time I got a different management here which was very impressive,

The property had the best views with very clean rooms .. some cute monkeys visited our balcony during the day when it’s sunny so it was entertaining .. the staff was really hospitable and accommodating specially Abhinesh who even arranged a day trip for us to see all tourist spots and monastery’s nearby. They have an in house kitchen/restaurant in the lobby with really great food which made us feel homely (veg friend rice and chicken chilly is a must try)

Let me begin by saying, exceptional staff, from the moment you step in till the moment you leave the property your are dealt with utmost respect and treated like royalty. Vikrant ,Vishal and Pankaj up in the restaurant make you feel like you are the center of their attention, provided my son with just the tikka sauce gravy as he only wanted that to eat. On Saturday night they play live music and they fulfill your request of any song. The two days I stayed at this property I couldn’t find any reasons to complain and I live in USA so I’m used to staying in Hilton, Marriott, and or Hyatt, I would rate this hotel among this group, please do not change looking forward to staying with you guys the next time I visit India.

Everything was very good. It was clean and at a quiet location. The view was good too. Also the breakfast was always very tasty. This was by far the best hotel in which I have stayed in India.

The Alpine Villa was a treat we had planned for ourselves with an amazing view of the Himalayas and lovely staff to look after us and feed us delicious food and also great information and facts about Naddi and other locations. Thank you so much for the great memories that were made during our stay.

I liked the friendly people.. quiet atmosphere... Great place to start the Triund trek and Waterfall trek

Amazing view. Had the executive suite. Very spacious and comfortable room. Service was amazing. Especially Rinku who always watched over us. They put me in contact with a great driver and tour guide company Akshay Tours that handled everything for us. Had in room massage which was great. Walkable to some restaurants and sunset point. Food in the hotel was great as well.
