We're a local family running a small number of rooms the way we'd host a guest at home — a driver who knows every viewpoint worth the detour, a porch built for doing absolutely nothing for a while, and a clean, well-equipped kitchen at the heart of the house, turning out fresh organic local and Indian food served in our wood-panelled dining room where guests eat together. On a clear morning, watch the first light hit the Kanchenjunga range straight from your room's window. Part homestay, part farm stay — join us in the fields, hike with us to unexplored viewpoints, or just do nothing at all. No big-hotel checklist, just quiet mornings, mountain air, and people who are glad you came.
After working as an Engineer in Noida for over 6 years, I decided to trade the tech hustle for my lifelong dream: opening my doors to travelers in the serene, unexplored village of Lamahatta, Darjeeling. Leaving a stable career wasn't easy, but taking a chance on passion and being back home made it all worth it!As your host, I love creating warm, cozy spaces (I personally decorated every corner) and cooking up fresh, experimental dishes. My dad and I even grow our own organic vegetables right in our garden, which make their way straight to your plate. When I’m not hosting or tending to my flower garden, you’ll find me experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen.Come stay with us for wholesome, farm-fresh meals, peaceful mountain views, and a quiet retreat away from the crowds.
