Sergey focuses on making sure the online experience matches the real one. Between us, we speak Hindi, English, Russian, and Hebrew. OmiHomeStay is a 10-room guesthouse in Dharamkot village, a quiet hilltop settlement above McLeod Ganj, surrounded by Himalayan cedar forests. We are in Upper Bhagsu Nag, next to TriMurti Garden. Built for long-stay travellers and remote workers: every room has a dedicated workspace, free 200 Mbps WiFi, hot water, and full cleaning between guests (weekly during long stays). Choose rooms with a private kitchen, shared kitchen access, or standard rooms — all with mountain or forest views. Each floor has its own terrace, and the second-floor terrace with cushions and panoramic Dhauladhar views is the heart of the house — good for working, reading or watching the sunset. Our on-site café serves Indian and international food; meals are paid separately, with a 10% discount for guests. Bhagsunag Temple and Bhagsu Waterfall are a 10-minute walk, McLeod Ganj main square 15 minutes downhill, and the Triund trek starts from the village. Kangra Airport is 20 km. Dharamkot is a small hilltop village 2 km above McLeod Ganj, home to the Dalai Lama's residence. It's where yoga teachers, digital nomads, and long-term travelers settle in for weeks or months. The vibe is quiet, international, and walkable. Within 5 minutes: yoga studios, vegan cafés, organic shops, meditation centers. 10 minutes: Bhagsunag Temple (ancient Shiva temple with turquoise pool), Dal Lake. 15 minutes: Bhagsu Waterfall, McLeod Ganj main square with ATMs, shops, restaurants. The Triund trek — one of India's most popular day hikes — starts right from the village. We're located in Upper Bhagsu Nag, right between Bhagsu Nag and Dharamkot village, next to Trimurti Garden — a well-known local landmark. Any auto-rickshaw or taxi driver in the area knows it. Just say "Trimurti Garden, Upper Bhagsu" and you'll be dropped right at our doorstep. Getting here: Kangra Airport (20 km, 1 hour). Pathankot Railway Station (90 km, 3 hours).
