About Us Pine Wood homestay is in the midst of Apple orchard in Kotgarh It is 76km from Shimla and 10km from narkanda We provide home-like comfort to our guests. Hindi Song ‘Piya Basanti’ was shot at kotgarh.
Local Food • Baahdi – A combination of wheat, sugar or salt and ghee • Redu – Curd, rice, and wheat balls cooked with spices • Delle ki chutney- Chutney made of apricot kernel • Pakain – Wheat flour stuffed fried bread • Siddu – Steamed Leavened bread with stuffing (Sweet or Salty) Local Seasonal Food • Indra – (November to March ) • Dhindra – (July to December) • Kungshi - (January to March) • Lingude – (May to June)
