SaffronStays Blooming Stone was designed by a celebrated architect as her own family summer retreat and it shows. This is not a home built for the market. Every decision, from the full-height glass facades that frame the valley to the locally sourced stone walls built using traditional techniques, reflects a deeply personal vision of how a home should feel: open, grounded, and quietly beautiful. Inside, handpicked furniture from across the world sits alongside Sri Lankan and Japanese art and antique brass accents from the southern region. The living area is generous and unhurried lounge seating, a 100-inch TV, and the kind of light that shifts beautifully through the day.
