Recently renovated to offer all modern facilities, it has a lush green garden in the front and a lovely courtyard at the back of the house. The space Solan Retreat is a British Heritage House dating back 150 years with high ceilings, deodar wood doors and windows, antique furniture, fireplaces, hidden nooks and crannies and lots more. GARDEN RETREAT A lovely lush green garden in front of the house welcomes you with pretty flowers dancing in the wind and the soothing sounds of chirping birds. Soak in the bright sunshine while the cool breeze lulls you to sleep. Look up to see a star spangled sky in perfect silence. The view from the garden shows multiple rows of mountain peaks blending into infinity. A popular game among guests is to count the number of peaks you can see from the garden. Below the mountains, the entire town of Solan is laid out before you.

This house is a Iconic Heritage Bungalow perched adjacent Jawahar Park,The house has been recently renovated and refurbished and the bathrooms have been fitted with modern sanitary fittings to give guest a cozy & comfortable stay. The guest will feel totally at ease and be relaxed enjoying the natural beauty of the mountains facing the house. The guest can sit in the garden and enjoy basking in the sun,Play cards & outdoor games. I personally enjoy going for long walks at Jawahar Park. The guest can indulge in gardening, & there are numerous species of birds which flock to the park above so it is a welcome treat for bird lovers.The guest will be breathing Pure Clean Mountain Air laden with oxygen which refreshes the person with energy. The place is ideal for people to rejuvenate & recharge their battery. Breakfast Lunch & Dinner is available at extra charges at Solan Retreat, however there are plenty of eateries and take aways available on the Mall Road. Solan Retreat has access is virtually in the hearts of Solan, and hence is very close to the Upper Bazaar,Lower Bazaar, where all types of Himachali handicraft ,Fruits & local vegetable are available. Since it is on the Mall Road all popular Eateries are Stone-throw away from the house. The Military Cantonment solan is nearby, and a visit can we made there, as well as a visit to Mohan Heritage Park to view magnificent Temples, and the Mohan Meakins Brewery the oldest build in 1857, Where Old Monk Rum is made. The heritage Toy Train ride from solan to shimla can be taken from the solan Railway Station which is about 300 mtr. from the house. build in 1903, it is a UNESCO Heritage site. The traveller can enjoy the sheer beauty of the mountains as the toy train glides the Railway Tracks. Shimla is 40 Km from solan and other popular tourist places which can be visited on a day visit is Kasauli which is 16 kms away. Bon Buddhist Monastery is located about 15 Kms away and the monastery is about 500 years old.
