Our property is created for like minded travelers who wants to explore Rural Darjeeling and experience organic farming communities and Nepali hospitality. It is an agro-tourism based farmstay which is looking for a sustainable way through farming & tourism. Travelers can experience hand made tea activities & tea tasting, farming, exploring rivers nearby & fishing and some beautiful Treks around the area. Tathagata Farm is just 45 minutes drive from main Darjeeling city and any travelers can explore other tours/sights from the Farm as well.
We are two brothers who created Tathagata Farm in 2005. Navin was a Development Worker cum an Organic Farming Trainer turned as a keen Organic Farmer who experiments a lot in farming and likes to travel and share his experiences with fellow travelers. Pravin worked as a Travel Consultant in Delhi and who recently left all of it and came back home and he is also a Professional Photographer who likes to pursue his carrier further in Photography, Tourism and ofcourse Farming.
Mineral Spring Village and its farmers are one of the pioneer certified organic & fairtrade tea farmers and who also grows organic ginger, oranges, cardamom beside tea. Mineral Spring also known as Dabaipani is an organization of around 450 farmers.
