The fine print
The Hosteller is a backpacker hostel chain suited for young travellers, and does not permit guests below 18 years of age, even with legal guardians.
Our property is in a remote location with no direct on-site parking. Taxis or private cars/bikes can reach the main road, which is a 2 minute hike from the property. Private cars/bikes can be parked there, but at your own risk as no secured parking is available. The nearest secured parking is in Dharamshala(12 km away), from where guests must take a local taxi to reach the property. Please plan your travel accordingly.
The property is pet friendly, and we allow pets only in private rooms (not dorms). Any damages are attributable to the pet owners.
We follow a lean, self-service and no-frills hospitality model to keep stays affordable, with select amenities available on a pay-as-you-use basis.
Alcohol, drugs, misconduct, non-payment, theft, vandalism or policy violations will lead to immediate eviction without refund and possible permanent blacklisting.
Our cafe serves vegetarian food with self-service culture and operates 8 AM–2 PM and 6 PM–11 PM (timings may vary)
Possession, consumption, or distribution of illegal drugs and narcotic substances is strictly prohibited across all properties. Alcohol consumption is prohibited, while smoking is permitted only in designated smoking areas within the premises. Violation of any of the above policies may attract a penalty of ₹2,000 per incident, and repeated violations, misconduct, or non-compliance may result in immediate termination of stay without any refund.
For group bookings of 2+ guests, same-dorm accommodation is not guaranteed as room allocation is automated and subject to availability.
