ZostelX Theog sits on a ridge in the tiny village of Bhalech, right by Theog on the Shimla-Kinnaur highway. It looks out at a valley full of green Deodars and Pines.

Back in 1947, it was Theog where the first flag of independent India was hoisted! The road from this village splits in two, one towards Kinnaur and the other towards the Rohru Valley. It is less than 30km on road from Shimla, the nearest popular town of Himachal Pradesh.
