Brand new comfortable and well-designed cabins. The cabins are perfect for 2 persons and fine for 3 persons. There is one double bed (160 cm wide) and a sofa bed. The hot outdoor shower, accessible from the bathroom, is a delightful experience in all weathers. They are both very private though it is just a stone’s throw away from the Ring Road. Excellent base for exploring the wonders of the South, for instance Gullfoss & Geysir, The Westmann Islands, the beautiful waterfalls along the south coast and The black beach in Vik. The cabin is 25 square meters with living room/dining area, kitchen with fridge, stove, kettle and toaster and necessary cutleries. Coffee and tee is provided. Bedroom with King size bed and a sofa bed in the living room. The outdoor shower is accessible from the bathroom.

I have a BC degree in Geography from the University of Iceland, a writer and former tv reporter and news host at RUV, Iceland National TV Broadcasting Service, Channel One.

The land is a hidden gem 6,5 hectares (160 acres) A forest with hundreds of species of trees and bushes and stretches all the way down to the great salmon river Ytri Ranga. Guests are free to stroll and enjoy the forest and scenery. There is free parking at the estate.
