We opened our little guesthouse in 2017. We have sheep, horses and a few chickens and we love to grow vegetables and herbs in the summer. We have enjoyed welcoming thousands of guests from all over the world and can´t wait to meet more.

A family operated guesthouse located at a farm in the South of Iceland. We redid the cowshed as a guesthouse and have 4 rooms available for guests. All rooms have a private bathroom. The famous volcano Hekla is close by as well as one of the biggest salmon fishing rivers in Iceland. We are only an hour and a half by car from Reykjavík (about 120km). If you want to experience true rural Iceland away from the crowds you´ve come to the right place. We are close to everything but far enough to be a calm oasis where you can just chill and be around beautiful nature, meet our animals and make yourself at home. If you´re travelling with a child we can provide a crib. The common area is spacious and bright and includes a dining hall and kitchen. You´ll have access to a fully equipped kitchen including fridge & freezer. Please note that we are located on a farm, 18km from the nearest town Hella.

We are ideally located to explore some of South Iceland´s main attractions, e.g. 30 mins from Seljalandsfoss, 40 mins from Skógafoss, 1 hr from the Black beach in Vík, 1hr 30 mins from the golden circle, 1hr 30 mins from Reykjavík.
