Our farm is becoming completely energy self-sufficient. The path we are taking will lead us to be totally off-grid. We already have an off-grid photovoltaic system and are in the process of building a second one that will allow the agritourism to be self-sufficient. There is neither wi-fi nor television in La Malcontenta e Il Lupo. We want to propose love for nature and essential things. Here is the beauty. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in this Reserve. It is a painful decision, but necessary for wildlife to be protected, and this is part of the main objectives of La Malcontenta e il Lupo.

The “agriturismo” makes environmental conservation one of its main missions. Respect for the ecosystems in which the farm is positioned favours the presence of wildlife and the quality of organic products grown on the estate. The guests of La Malcontenta e il Lupo can stay in stone farmhouses dating back to the early 19th century, immersed in a protected natural area, now WWF affiliated Oasis. The “casolare” (country house) Caseconti is completely available to the guests. The entire structure has six beds. The bedrooms are three. There is the possibility of adding a little sofa bed. The “casale”, dating back to the early 1800, is completely made of stone. It consists of a ground floor with a reception room, a living room, bathroom, hallway and a porch, and a first floor that includes a dining room and a kitchen, three bedrooms and a bathroom. The house is fully furnished and equipped with linens, the kitchen is complete with the necessary to cook (oven, stove, fridge, cupboards, crockery). Casolare la Torre del tabacco is situated on a vantage point from which you can enjoy a unique view of the WWF affiliated oasis La Malcontenta e il Lupo and the Tiber River Park. The large windows make this cottage very bright. The materials used for the renovation are breathable and healthy. Lime plays the leading role, both with hemp and with pozzolan. Heating and cooling are underfloor heating. The cottage is self-sufficient (offgrid). It is equipped with everything necessary: three bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with two single beds and another with a single bed (a total of 5 beds) two bathrooms, one with shower large living room with fireplace; kitchen equipped with oven, dishwasher, refrigerator, glass-ceramic hob, coffee maker, toaster and and all the crockery needed. There is no restaurant on the property, but it is possible to buy organic farm products, such as truffles or extra virgin olive oil. Nearby restaurants will be suggested.

The Farmhouse La Malcontenta e il Lupo is located in the hamlet of Asproli, in a WWF affiliated Oasis. Its position is close to the Tiber River Park (today also Special Protection Area, SPA IT5220024), and the Forello Clefts and Pasquarella Valley (both Sites of Community Importance, SCI IT5220006 IT5220007), in an area where nature is among the wildest in Umbria. The property is located in the countryside of Todi, and in its proximity, allowing you to easily reach all the major tourist destinations in Umbria. From the windows you can enjoy the view of the Tiber Valley and the beginning of the inlets that lead to the Forello Clefts. The structure is surrounded by nature, although well connected with the main town centres. Todi is 8 kilometres away. The nearest supermarket is 13 minutes drive from the house.
